C’mon, Rob, how do you not notice your dog is poised inside your trash bin?

We had a dog like that. She would ask to go out and make a run for the trash can. Had her stomach pumped a lot!

That dog has gone bananas! This strip made me laugh out loud, a real rarity for me among the comic strips!

They call it mellow yellow. – Donovan!

Pinkish put the banana peel in the compost not the Satchel ;-)

Satchel must’ve heard the fictional ‘Popeye’ song:

“I’m Popeye the sailor man, I live in a garbage can, I never go swimmin’ with bow-legged women, I’m Popeye the sailor man.”

They should make a version of Pac-Man with Satchel as the main character.

It seems that Conley is running out of ideas. He’s had only three semi-unique subjects in the last month. Each followed by a week or so of dead horse beating.

Satch must have a bad vitamin or mineral deficiency. I once had a dog that ate dirt, and the vet said to add salt to his food. It worked.

LOL love it.

This is one big reason to have covered trash can in the kitchen. Unless you keep it under the sink (as I did many years and houses ago) or in a closet.

Jeepers, Satchel. How are you even alive with everything you’ve eaten this week?

Isn’t Satchel in a garbage can redundant?

I know Satch has always liked eating, but eating this amount of trash is unusual for him. beginning to wonder if he has a thyroid condition.

We had a mini dachsie who, despite having plenty of food and treats, would knock over the tall covered wastebasket and chow down on who-knows-what anytime we left the house! Hubby solved the problem by putting hooks in the wall and stretching a bungee cord across the front of the wastebasket. Worked like a charm! We had another mini d. who would actually chew off our bigger dog’s fur. He managed to do that enough that he got a bowel obstruction and had to have emergency surgery! Solved that problem by getting spray that repels dogs from chewing on the furniture, etc. (or their sisters, as the case may be!) and spraying it lightly over the spots that he preferred. It didn’t seem to bother the bigger dog at all, and all was well! (Silly mutts!)
