And yet that newspaper comes closer to the truth than Trump’s rants about Obama and the Iran nuclear deal.

Talk about irony. It still eludes Payne, despite his distortions of reality.

I give up. Payne has obviously found us out: The only reason we oppose him is because we unjustifiably HATE him and blame him for everything from pimples to sore feet. Even though he’s a stable genius, has lowered taxes, increased wealth, spent all his time working hard without ever going golfing and made friends for the USA around the world. And has never been caught telling even a fib.

Maybe, if Payne didn’t use this strip to dump all of his persecution fantasies, he’d run around with an AR-15with a drum magazine and a bump stock.

The funny part is most of these titles have some truth in them.

To Hair Groppenfuror, an imminent threat is McDonald’s or KFC being sold out. Anything else is beyond his abilities at caring and planning.

Did you get the position on KellyAnne’s staff of Alternative Reality consultants Henry? I guess it doesn’t matter. You’ll say you did even if its not true.

It was just a coincidence that human scum Trump tried to start WW III after his impeachment conviction by the House and before his Senate trial began.

The keys to the country need to be taken away from the insane drug addict president before the world finds out the nukes are flying.

Sadly, if you ever look at Breitbart and The Federalist comments, this hyperbole and hysteria about Democrats is the norm.

This strip is a load of crap. There are far too many atrocities trump has rightfully been accused of doing. To portray him as being picked on is ridiculous.

Only in the minds of Trumpers like Payne.

Real conservatives know Trump for the ugly demagogue wannabe strongman he is.

I use to enjoy reading your editorials for the opposing POV, because you presented relatively reasonable view from the right. But lately, you’ve gone off the deep end. Your comics are idiotic and have lost their connection to reality. You’ve stretched the limit too far. See ya Henry.

If I weren’t familiar with Payne’s work, I would think that this was a parody of Trump’s own claims. E.g., he has claimed that he himself is responsible for both a drop in the number of airline accidents and a drop in cancer mortality. The headline is a reversal of the claim that “Revered Trump kills terrorist Iranian leader”. I’ve missed what he’s said about the Australian wildfires (I don’t do Twitter), but I’m sure he must have said something ridiculous. As for adding a new impeachment article… it could yet happen.

Meanwhile, isn’t “a chance of Apocalypse” in the weather report just what a lot of the “Evangelicals” are praying for?

Reminds me of Trump blaming Obama and/or Clinton for all his trials and tribulations. He’s blamed Iran on Obama/Clinton along with everything else bad that’s happened in the last decade. Clinton he’s blamed since 1993. Trump protests too much, methinks.

Seriously. Liberals aren’t mourning for Soleimani. We just know that it is a terrible idea, because it makes Iran hate us even more than it already does. That was not progress.

Republicans love war. GWBush showed us that Republicans don’t care about law or the Constitution. Trump has shown us they don’t have any moral constraints.

OneSmith and dorisloanj are here to defend anything that Trump does. Many on the condemned Obama for his use of drones because that tends to kill the innocent and create more terrorists. But OneSmith thinks that since he will defend Trump no matter what, he doesn’t understand that reasonable people can see the truth about leaders, even if they happen to like most of what they do. dorisloanj only seems to have one thing to say. The assumption that the left is sad for the “loss” of Soleimani is insulting; even some of the Repubs apologized for saying that but dorisloanj is going to repeat it while having nothing else to say.

This is the same nonsense that happened with the Iraq War based on lies. Bush said “you’re with us or against us” and anyone that objected to the war was called “anti-American”. In 1992 as Sec. of Defense, Cheney said that removing Saddam would cause chaos in the Middle East; then as VP he encouraged Bush to remove Saddam to PROVE that his 1992 statement was correct. Saddam’s removal and the Iraq War led to the creation of ISIS.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2020/01/09/new-gop-line-if-you-criticize-trump-you-support-terrorism/

This article states why killing Soleimani encourages MORE terrorism.
