How do you even know what is in 15k photos? The mind boggles! I have 73 images in my phone (just checked), including a lot of screenshots of blunders on websites! I do have a couple of hundred photos in my PC though!
Every week, I transfer any pictures I have in my phone to my computer. I never have more than 20 pics or so on my phone. Also, when I transfer them I get rid of the junk…
You move your pics to your computer and don’t look at them there either. I had lunch with a cousin, aka Crazy Cat Lady, on Friday. She spent half her time with me trying to find certain pictures of her cats among all those other cat pics on her phone. Sigh.
Huh why buy cloud storage? Just transfer them to your computer and back them up. There you have 15 k of useless photos you’ll never look at again in three different places (so you won’t lose any in case of accident)
This is so my sister, she takes tons of pictures, of vendor shows, and long before our mom passed pictures and videos of her. She takes pictures of items she sales, once sold deletes.
I don’t have a cell phone, so most of my images have been taken with my iPad Mini. The vast majority of them are either tomatoes or tomato plants. There are some of insects, most them found on (you guessed it) tomato plants. There are some of various plants found growing in the yard that I couldn’t identify.
My desktop picture changes randomly every minute. The source folder “Desktop Pictures” now has 1,375 items. Because it is a system folder I need to use the password each time I add more images. Before adding new ones I edit them down to the native resolution of my display, so the size of each is about 30KB to 90KB.
Buy a big external hard drive for your computer, bigger than you think you need, and move the photos to the drive and just have a few on the phone at any one time. The “Cloud” is expensive and insecure. And unless you are a business you don’t need RAID. The Mrs upgraded her storage to three WD My Books at 14TB with two backing up and a third in a safety deposit box that she rotates out on a monthly basis. (She works as an illustrator and is paranoid about storage. “There are two kinds of computer users, those who have external backups and those who have yet to get one.” )
I have 5k in mine I do delete bloopers immediately but I really keep too many and mostly of my grandkids. Hate to delete those cute pictures. I learned to be firm about deleting pictures that are too similar in poses, etc, otherwise, I’d have 15k pictures too.

Put them on a thumb drive and delete them from the phone. Do videos first

Do you know how long it would take to sort through that many photos? The memories alone would slow her down exponentially!

You’ll still have to delete them from your phone
