Welcome back to some new old BS. I hope this will be daily, but we shall have to wait and see. Little Toby is nothing if not thorough and equitable.

OMG!!! It’s back! YAY!!!

This is the first strip from the GoComics archive….

January 1st, 2002.

It’s not the first Ballard Street strip ever, but I guess 2002 is as far back as GoComics, ie Universal UClick, owns the syndication rights.

When Jerry Van A retired, on March 31st, the reruns started the very next day, on April 1st… but we only went back six years….

to a rerun of the April 1st 2013, strip.

We then saw all of April, 2013 again…. till it stopped, and we were stuck, on the 30th.

As I recall, there are only a few January 2002 strips in the archive, and then a gap of several months…

I’m hoping this is an actual restart and will just keep going past any gaps… and onward… all the way through again, from the beginning….

and not simply GoComics changing to a new page because there were so many comments on that April 30th strip.

With that in mind…. here’s to a new run of Ballard Street!

The Tiki is open (as always) …. your first beer (or nonalcoholic bevverage) is on the house tonight….
