Hopefully the robot won’t force you to do chores for HIM like in that one Shel Silverstein poem.

If I were Calvin, I’d let the tape recorder itself be the robot’s head; just paint the face on the back thereof.

I’ve got a robot for you, Calvin. Might be a little too big for your room, though.

Calvin’s robot is either gonna be more dangerous than the Terminator, or more silly than Inspector Gadget.

Well, this is a re-run, so we all know how it will end!!

Just don’t teach it The Three Laws Of Robotics.

I prefer “Grand Lord High Poobah of All That I Observe”, but Calvin’s is good, too.

i read that as “erase” lol

It’s certainly better than “let me check on that for you”.

Starting with a program like that, is one of the reasons Skynet is going to happen.

Daleks, Terminators, Cylons, do we really need any more evil robots?

“You pass butter”.

Just last week, my TV said “Ask Alexa to tell a joke.” So I said to her, “Tell me a Milwaukee Polish joke from the 1970s.” As I understand it, before the Lady Elgin sunk September 8, 1860, the jokes were about Germans, after Irish. Come-on Amazon.

And so begins the robot apocalypse…

“Easy” is nice and all, but I want more fun and very likely more challenges than just that. As does Calvin when he’s off adventuring or rolling/sliding down that murderous mountain that seems to be near his back yard.

The Four Laws of Robotics

1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

4. Calvin and Hobbes are not human beings.
