Sam has been presumably planning this for at least a few months and this was the extent. Well what did I expect? Gabby is the brains on this strip after all. XD
This is wise advice…almost. I get Sam doesn’t like the idea of a relationship built on a lie (and let’s be honest: Sedine’s also just enjoying the show and doesn’t want it to end), but they’re both idiots and in the end this will work out.
I still like the idea that Hubbs knows (or at least strongly suspects), but so long as he can keep the idea that Al is a guy in his mind he won’t collapse into a puddle of abject terror. Eventually, he’ll keep in his mind that Al and Ellie are the same, and he felt so comfortable with Al, so Ellie won’t frighten him anymore. Much. Maybe a little.
Okay, Sam, back to square one. You need a plan that doesn’t originate anywhere near Sedine. And work is not good either, since Roy is there and would snitch on you. So first step, find a safe place to talk to Hubbs.
It’s moments like this that the comic strip’s name is particularly appropriate. How does Hubbs knowing the truth about “Al” threaten Sedine’s relationship with Sam? Is she that insecure? (If so, you would think she’d be the first to want Hubbs & Ellie together…)

The look on his face in the last panel is that of a man who realizes there is no escape from his fate.

Figures Sedine makes this about herself, if she could she’d rename the comic: “Sedine: Beauty, Love, and Tragedy”.

At least Sedine’s not mad at him, in fact they seem closer. Kickin’ some tail must make Sedine frisky! ;D

Did she just put a curse on him?

Those are not mutually exclusive, are they?

This is your fault – said the girl who set up this charade in the first place. Okay, Sedine – a little explanation, please…

Sedine, Sedine
Our whip-ass Queen
Hubbs and Sam were busted.
Nurse wound and bruise
Naught left to lose
Sam’s not to be trusted.
To spill the beans
Know what it means
To break one’s word to wife.
Sweet match-maker
Her moniker
The best part of Sam’s life.

It’s nice of Sedine to hug Sams Ice pack for him.
Especially since she is the reason he needs an ice pack.

Sam is just as confused in panel two as he is in panel four.

There are times when I would be happy to be Sam, except when Sedine goes all Clo-Chi 1.0.

Anyway, I hope.
