I don’t know… I think I’d read that book. Or just wait for the movie.

If you do not have interesting things in your head to write about, then seek another career. You’re in the wrong business.

You certainly need to keep thinking, Adam. None of those ideas is it.

He could write a book about Hogan’s Heroes, and title it “I know nothing, nothing. "

A good book should be in you. Just tell a lie and then spend a few days trying to prove it is not a lie.

The actors playing the four main Sweathogs were much older than the characters they played. By the final season, Ron Palillo was 29, Robert Hegyes 27, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs 25, and John Travolta 24.

Welcome Back Kotter was the inspiration and prototype for Facts of Life, which was basically supposed to be girls version of Kotter called Garrett’s Girls with Charlotte Rae standing in for Gabe Kaplan as the lead, and Kim Fields, Mindy Cohn and Lisa Welchel the distaff Sweathogs.

When I taught computer gamewriting to elementary students, I’d start each class with a “Welcome Back Kotter” joke.

I got it! Its a rags to riches story about a lowly janitor at a mayonnaise factory who competes on a quiz show and wins the grand prize when he correctly names all the Sweat Hogs.
