Not an antisemitic statement in sight. One should be able to criticize Israel, its government, and its politicians without being accused of antisemitism.
Same drawing from a month ago https://www.gocomics.com/bobgorrell/2019/02/13 You just removed the hands, changed the eyebrows, and added some lines to the suit. You could have at least changed the color of the hijab.
All of the Organizations Gorrell cites are American organizations. AIPAC’s goal is to pressure Congress to send more American Tax dollars to a Foreign Nation.
Netenyahu, Trump and the Republican Party are engaged in a three-way love affair. All of them corrupt on a massive scale. I guess stating this obvious fact makes me a Jewish Anti-Semite.
And to make it even more ridiculous, support for the Government of Israel is FAR more common among American Evangelical Christians than it is among American Jews. So how is it antisemitic to not support it?
And many of the people who claim that it is “antisemitic” to oppose the government of Israel believe that all Jews who follow the Jewish religion are going to hell. How antisemitic is that?
I agree. She should never have taken money from any of those PACs. In fact I’ve got a great idea: Let’s make un-attributed donations to PACs illegal for all PACs. And overturn the Citizens United ruling in the process: Let actual people be the ones who donate to political campaigns.
The simple fact is that Omar has been using anti-Semitic phrases for years. Not anti-Israel, but centuries old disparagement’s of Jews.
The references to money/greed date back to the middle age. The dual allegiance comment has been around for centuries and was heavily exploited by the Nazis in the 1930’s and 40’s.
Pelosi now says that Omar doesn’t understand the history, that somehow she uttered these age old insults spontaneously.
The resolution was initially drafted to punish OMAR. For comments long accepted as being anti-Semitic. It was so badly watered down that Omar voted yes, and then claimed victory.

Ironic, considering Bibi’s anti-Semitic comments about Israel being only for Jews and not Arabs.

It’s like criticizing Trump is anti-Christian.

March 3, 2015. Boehner and McConnell demonstrated their allegiance to Israel.

Well, Republiclans support the idea of any criticism of the POT and Trump is synonymous with treason, this is just a logical extension.

Regardless, what she is saying is true though, right? That Congressional influence is being bought and sold?

And do you think the asterisked footnote is antisemitic and offensive?
Then neither is the statement above it.

Ms. Omar is nowhere near that ugly. She’s a very attractive woman, and Mr. Gorrell is just being nasty.

As the separation of Church and State continue to blur… was the National Prayer Breakfast used as a backchannel to Putin?

Looks as if Gorrell is trying to be the “Hannity” of editorial cartooning!

she’s not wrong. And her accepting money from those PACS, as with an other politician and any other PAC, is equally wrong.
