and how do we get mutton, Sally? (from muttonherders of course!)
Muttonchops?
I’m just as confused as you are, Charlie Brown
Sheep dip!
So Sally prefers the original English version instead of the French to describe the meat.
I love Sally’s school reports.
Sally’s writing always amuse me.
What happened to the ongoing storyline?? With the cat, and Woodstock, and.. and… War And Peace! — did Snoopy ever get to the end of it? I think we need to know!
Sally’s report was straightforward, then took a sharp turn there in the middle!
CB, just give up and ask Schroeder to play “chopsticks” on his piano.
The kid who follows Sally’s report will be giving PETA’s side of the lambchop story.
Just roll with it, C.B…
But some lambs manage to free themselves, to become part of the lambscape.
What’s wrong with “sheepchops?” Writers invent words all the time. As long as the readers can understand them, then they “work.”
Sally’s going to feel pretty sheepish when she gets her grade.
Real good cursive penmanship for a 1st/2nd grader.
Sally is just developing her writing chops.
I think that I saw Sheepchops on the Easter dinner menu I looked at.
If we make lamb shanks from lambs what do we make sheep shanks from?
Hahahaha. Sally is awesome! What a character.
During WWII, my uncle had so much mutton while stationed in England he would not eat any lamb back here in the States.
I’ve got plenty of mutton, and mutton’s plenty for me.
Muttonchops? Oh men wear them. Lambchop talks.
Lambs to the left of me. Mutton to the right. Here I am. Stuck in the middle with ewe.
And papakah and ushanka hats from the sheep skin.
This strip beats my limited vocabulary.
