I see a bright future for Calvin as breaking in and entry specialist, with intermittent periods as a guest of the state.

This is why you have to know who you’re talking to before you open you’re mouth.

If Mom is coming into the house with a second load of groceries, she must’ve left the house keys inside the house.

So a 6 year old can break into that house. Pretty secure.

I guess you better find an Embassy to hide out in. I hear Ecuador has a room available.

Someday maybe Fred will win the fight. Then that cat will stay out for the night.

We used to have a kid in the neighborhood who was an expert at getting into locked houses. His mum said he refused to carry a house key, but would climb in through a window. I cam home from work one day and found him sitting in the kitchen, eating peanut butter sandwiches. Our girls were at the pool. AND the alarm was still on.

That wouldn’t have worked for me when I was a kid. We didn’t have locks on our doors.

No locks it my house back then either; we had latches but a strong person could pull them open.

In the first panel we see a door, the knob is on the left as viewed from outside. Maybe that’s the back door and all the other doors are the front with the knob on the other side.

Calvin’s not breaking and entering. They have no security system. They don’t need it. Everybody knows that Calvin lives there.

That sure looks like a pet door. But Hobbes can’t move while mom is watching.
