Now the end of the February 6 strip makes sense. Bravo! And it’s good to see Sam the Lion again—he seems much improved. Where’s Zulu?

Mr. Rosebud? Is Rosebud male again? The character was revealed to be female back in the late ’80s.

I had favored the part of the cartoon involving text of “LOVABLENESS” more than its other parts and had wondered what was meant by the text of “GASEOUS DINGLETWAT” in the last part of it, since I had never seen such text before the first time I saw it — the cartoon itself.

WHAT is that “thing” on that kid’s helmet?

I wonder if Zulu is jealous. I haven’t seen Sam with him in a while.

It’s so nice to see Sam run so happy.

I am happy for Sam the Lion, who seems much improved. But I remain wary of that basselope! —And Opus isn’t helping matters….
