I always love the way Liz turns and looks at Garfield as if to say “NOW what am I supposed to do?”

Wait a few years when climate change fully melts the glaciers and then it would just be a hike for you Jon.

I would rather see Jon bungee jump into the Grand Canyon.

Loophole for Jon: You never said you’d climb to the top. Just that you’d climb it. So go to Everest, climb 10 feet, call it a day. And then call Liz and tell her you did what you said you’d do.

    What Garfield is thinking….

On top of spaghetti, All covered with cheese, I lost poor Jon, When somebody sneezed.

Jon rolled off the table, And on to the floor, And then my poor Jon, Rolled out of the door.

He rolled in the garden, And under a bush, And then poor Jon, Was nothing but mush.

maybe she will pick the tallest from the base – Mauna Kea – or Mona Kea, who lives on the slope

Well, the highest mountain (that we know of) is Olympus Mons on Mars. So until we have manned flights to the Red Planet, I’d say he’s off the hook.

Jon has advanced. Used to be that Liz wouldn’t give him any time of the day.

I look at the most recent ‘Garfield minus Garfield’, and then at the same day’s ‘Garfield’, just to see if it might make a good ‘Garfield minus Garfield’. This day could work.
