Omg! I can’t wait for this! I remember Earl and Pearl’s relationship being mentioned one time in the comics long ago, so I’m even more excited to know their backstory!! ^^
My grandmother died in 1993, and she and one of her sisters NEVER agreed on anything and were always fighting…pretty much their entire adult lives. She complained to my mother one day a few years before she died about how she just could not get along with “name withheld” no matter how hard she tried.
I remember my mother replying, “Well Mama…you did steal Daddy from her when they were dating and marry him.” So…these things do happen….even in the early 1900s.
