First, as most of you probably know, the site’s webpage has been broken for some time. Changes to the way my strip is processed here at GoComics broke the site, and despite my best efforts in what little spare time I’ve had, I’ve not been able to reconcile my eight year old PHP code with the changes.
So, I’ve installed Comicpress on my site and am in the process of updating and importing all 13 years of the strip into the new format. I’ve gotten through the end of August 2006. As you can imagine, this is going to take a very long time.
For those of you with morbid curiosity, you can see the progress at the temporary directory http://newadventuresofqueenvictoria.com/wordpress – eventually I will have store links and new versions of some of the other features of the old page implemented there. Until then, I’m leaving the minimally functional old site at the main URL.
Second, thank you to the three readers who donated to help pay my cat Tegan’s vet bill. We should have results from the blood work today and we’ll need to see where we go from here. The GoFundMe is still active for those who want to chip in a buck or two. Thanks again.
Tesla probably isn’t dead and his exclamation doesn’t mean death since when you die you get recycled. We are already part of the Cosmos so-to-speak. He may have merged with the ancient temporal machine called YOG-SOTHOTH somehow…now he’s gone and done it again! First the S-T-V anomalies between times, places and even universes. Now this? What would Rick Sanchez think of this? You wouldn’t want to know…
