Amazing action in today’s panels! Furious Roy and his rhinestone studded boots for the win!

Fortunately, this was the rare subspecies known as a Weenie Bear.

Roy tossed a boot at a bear and it whimpered away…I’m starting to think Charlene maybe as reliable a storyteller as Usopp.

Hey Bea do you think we’re stupid in the 4th panel?! We know that’s a bear, you didn’t need to spell it out for us! XD

I find it hard to believe Roy never told this story himself, he lies to his daughter about being a monster hunter, yet have never brought this up. Well unless it’s because he doesn’t want Michaela to do anyhting stupid and fight a bear too.

4th panel: “Who throws a boot? Really?!”

It was a sock and yet there is no sock.

The bear wimpered from the smell.

Why do I have in the back of my head that Roy trained the bear… for just – ah say, just – such a situation?

The bear was so scared and depressed it turned to self mutilation?That Roy is a baaaad man.

Hmmm… that “bear” seems to suffer a decided species shift in panel #4. I seem to hear Bert Lahr and the strains of a song about courage. But then, I hear lots of songs wafting through the empyrean other people say aren’t there. Poor things.
