Fortunately, I didn’t give up looking for the meaning of the word “shunter” after clicking on URBAN DICTIONARY. Not quite appropriate in this context. Go for the railroad-related meaning: shifter.

Watch out for those pearl onions. Those are the real killers.

Shunter…Will this modern stone age term ever run its course in history languages. Man I was prepared for buffer locking hitch in the train terminology. The hesitating before the train starts and stop between rail cars. A buffer to consider just in case a person may be heading for a crash.
