Well, we have officially left the Mexican standoff and photo finish scenario in 1966 Batman.

Looks like someone is gonna get hurt!

The question is, how protective will Kato be to his boss?

Britt has taken plenty of punches and dealt them out too. However if he is use to the gas he won’t be bothered by it. Kato could get him out of this jam as long as Sam can’t pull a gun on him.

Excellent flow of action with good composition to each panel and forshadowing.

GH will at least have some explaining to do, if he gets out of this jam, but ends up having a meeting with Tracy as Britt.

Diet Smith invented a gas mask! (What’ll they think of next?)

At least he punched him and didn’t shoot back

Tracy and Hornet are on the same side of the law, it will be interesting what transpires as I am a fan of both.

Excuse me Mr. Hornet, would you be a good sport and wait a moment whilst I take my hat off, slip this gas mask over my nose and mouth and put my hat back on before shooting your knockout gas?

I’ll bet the GH’s hat stays on.

Doesn’t the gas affect the Green Hornet?

OK instead of shooting him, Tracy hits the Hornet. Fine. The Hornet should be able to take that and hit Tracy back! Here’s hoping for a good old fashioned fist fight between Tracy and the Green Hornet! Kato, go smack Sam in case he’s wearing a gas mask too.

OK the man behind Tracy may be his backup, as his hat looks like a policeman’s hat, not Kato ‘s, Wasp’s or anyone else ’s.

They seem to have omitted the thought balloon for tracy in the last panel. Here, it SHOULD read like this “And as for YOU Hornet! This is what you get for infringing on my hat and trenchcoat trademark!”

I guess it’s a good thing for Tracy that Hornet’s gas needs to be inhaled to be effective. Many poison gases are absorbed by any bare skin, so a mask alone isn’t enough. (WWI’s mustard gas being an obvious example.)

The other day someone predicted the 1960’s Batman style onomotapoeia artwork and thwack there it is!

Maybe the fight is fake to preserve GH’s cover as a criminal. I just hope they wrap this storyline up soon.

Panel 2, Sam is literally backing up Tracy as the Chief of Detectives surprises with his Diet Smith gas mask. In panel 3, behind Tracy is IMO Kato. Maybe he will stun Tracy with a kick long enough for the GH to escape (with Kato) to the waiting Black Beauty and driver Red Wasp….
