“Who?” he says?! Like not only does he not know where they are, but he doesn’t even remember his friends? That’s just a little too aloof, even for a cat! :)

I’m still a bit surprised the People noticed two AWOL cats so quickly. Our kitties like to tuck themselves in hidey-holes and vanish and it takes a few hours for us to worry about “…Where’s [Insert Cat Name]? I haven’t seen them in a while.” Or at least if they don’t show up for dinner. Maybe Elvis is like my Sparky, almost always in the same room as their Chosen Person and the absence is noted sooner?

And not only does the wide-eyed innocent kitty pull a great snow job, he also nets a nice, scritchy-pet! Sure sign of a complete & successful dupe! Good little Pucky!

Also, Pucky is in the office, on the desk! Far away from the laundry chute! Obviously deflecting People’s attempts to find the truants. Keep up the good work! Who knows how long Pucky must keep up these evasive maneuvers? I think he can pull it off until kibble time! >^.,.^<

Love how Puck whispers his report so the People won’t know what’s going on. And of course the super innocent “who me” look to further confuse the Man :)

Lupin is easy to disappear because he can go invisible at the drop of a hat. Elvis on the other hand . . . no wonder the People have noticed!

Nice to see that Puck is loyal to his friends. Lupin’s delight at seeing Elvis threatened when Elvis was there to protect him shows that he is deficient in the loyalty department.

Good morning and happy Thursday to the Mega-Orb, and all orbsters and orbabies. I just love Puck’s innocent expression in panel 4 (Cats? What other cats?) and his look of bliss at the head scritches he is getting in Panel 5.

Ah, the face of cuteness, confusion, and complete innocence. Pucky seems to be able to pull it off. Fluffy could, but Fluffy really was that confused. Smudge tries. I don’t let him get away with it. “See, Mommy? I’m cute” doesn’t work on me anymore.

I came home today at lunch and my cat Maxie wasn’t there to greet me. I went looking for her to make sure she was OK, but didn’t see her. I went back in the kitchen to work on my lunch and looked over by the slider and there she was in the sun spot. I could imagine her say to me, “who are you looking for mom?”. :)

One day I was looking for my cat, Garbo. I looked on all three floors of my house – for an hour I was looking for this cat. Then another hour went by, still couldn’t find her. I went nuts. Finally, I don’t know why, but I looked across the room and saw her under the dining table on a chair.

“Oh, were you looking for me?”

I imagine that in the last panel, Puck’s motor is running at around 80 purrs per second (PPS).
