What is that thing in the lower left part of the last panel, in front of the corner of the window? I can’t figure it out.

I think that it’s past time that Diet Smith made wrist communicators look like regular watches. Nothing says “5-0” like carrying around equipment that only police are supposed to have.

Oh oh…UC’s may be causing problems now.

Lee has been undercover as T-Bolt for how many years now, and she just randomly began wearing a wrist wizard?

Again, like I said yesterday.. Mike can write the long drawn out story but his wrapups are just rushed and make zero sense.

Lee has NEVER used her wrist wizard (“on camera”) while at Bribery’s.. why would she start now?

I determined two things from today’s strip: (1) UC is an extension of the family, and (2) Lee Ebony is as dumb as they come. She might as well wear her Popo badge on her chest. She’s toast.

I determine GoComics is having problems with their system!!! Please repair!!!

Maybe it’s just me but for some unknown reason, the wrist wizard resembles the two-way wrist radios Tracy, Sam and Lizz wore in the 1960’s until Diet Smith Industries updated the technology and a screen was added. When Tracy was pursuing Bribery and Ugly Chiristine in a 1966 panel, his two-way got snagged on a tree branch. What happened to the wrist geenies? What I have seen recently is a throwback not what Diet Smith came up with. The item looked like a wrist watch and smacked of 21st century technology. If there is a doubt, I would point the readers to the More from Dick Tracy link. In particular Calling Dick Tracy Volume 1, see what he has on his wrist? I rest my case.

Good Afternoon Mr. Neil and others. This is the first time in a while I posted this in the afternoon. Usually it’s in the morning before 5 a.m. But since this is the second day that Go Comics is late posting the comics. What’s going on? Anyway, looks like everything is about to fall around the Bribery syndicate!

Lee is wearing TWO wrist wizards! Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, we see her wearing one on her left arm. Today we see she also wears one on her right arm.

Does she also wear any on her ankles?

Bribery’s so upset and he probably doesn’t even know yet about Tracy surviving the snowstorm (although Crystal does!)

Lee hasn’t been this sloppy as long as I can remember. I’m looking at it as a case of dumb luck. Lee reports in, and Glitch sees the two-way. After Glitch abandons ship, Lee didn’t have time to remove the two-way (maybe switching wrists, which is the most tenuous stretch I can make), and Crystal catches her with it. Crystal adds it up, and goes to warn Uncle Bribery.

Similar stuff happens like that to me at work. I try to get a project done, a customer interrupts. Bad timing and dumb luck.

A rapid change of attitude by Crystal today! Panel 1, she seeks T-Bolt’s help for Uncle Bribery’s breakdown/meltdown. Panel 2, “T-Bolt” (Lee) agrees to help but urges Crystal to take care and go to her room for her own safety (and to clear the deck for Lee to take action). But, panel 3, Crystal, seeming to concur, notices the Wrist Wizard and does a sudden Turn. Panel 4, Ugly Crystal now wants to warn her kin that T-Bolt’s a fake, as the blizzard continues outside! Tweenagers can be so mercurial….

Is Lee’s goose cooked? Will Ugly Crystal warn Bribery in time; will Bribery be in any state to heed a warning from his niece? One way or another, something’s happening!
