I don’t think she even knows what theology is.

The only numbers she’s focused on right now are how many times she’s jumped that rope

A Catholic Bible has 7 more books to the Old Testament, so it would be more words and letters to it, but I would say Linus has a Protestant Bible.

And the Eastern Orthodox Bible has a few more than the Catholic. The Ethiopian Bible tops out the list with 81 books.

I share Lucy’s disinterest. That’s one thing we have in common. Just one.

Or maybe she’s just not interested in numerology.

Depends on which version of the Bible Linus was counting from. Besides, word count and letter count in a Bible don’t have anything to do with theology.

Hey Linus: if you can’t bedazzle her with brilliance, befuddle her with bull****.

Actually, I’m betting it contains both far more and far fewer letters and words depending on the type, version, and edition.

another piece of Biblical trivia: there are 39 books in the Old Testament, and 27 in the New Testament. 3×9=27. I had to learn that 40+ years ago.

I have a full (both old and new testament) Bible that measures 1 1/2" by 1 1/4" by 1/2". And you can read it if you have good eyes.

Actually, Linus, Lucy is very keenly interested in your theology. You know, she just responded to your little tidbit:“Oh, yeah, yeah.”In Spirit, of course!Well, she can’t get much more interested than that! (LOL!)

It’s NOT theology she’s ignoring; its Linus and his “left brain statistics.” Classic male / female interaction. Love it.

@Stephen TreadwellWhen Biblical scribes finished writing a book of the Bible, they had to count the number of words to make sure it was accurate.
