Heh. 1954. It’s easy to forget how old these strips are.

I had all (or so I thought) the entire Peanuts collection in books. But maybe not because I don’t remember this arc!

There’s a joke here about woman golfers and Peppermint Patty, but good taste forbids. ;D

I would think that someone Lucy’s age would be more suited to putting a ball into a clown’s mouth.

With the 1954 date posted as it is, it is hard to fathom that a child reading this strip when it first released is probably retired today.

Later, of course, Charlie Brown would caddy for Snoopy, and later yet Peppermint Patty and Marcie would caddy for women golfers. Caddying probably keeps little kids out of trouble……

A Sunday continuation? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Peanuts Sunday cliffhanger. I’m kinda shocked and anxious now.
