"Angry Bob was angry. 'I will fly to Las Vegas and that will make me happy.' Near the end of the flight, the flight attendant made an announcement. 'We've begun our descent. but before we land, I thought we'd have some fun with a game I call, 'Get to Know Your Fellow Passengers.'' 'Here's how it works: One person will speak and say their favorite thing about this trip to Vegas. Then the next person will say hi to the previous person and say THEIR favorite thing about this trip.' 'I'll go first,' said the flight attendant. 'My name is Katy. I like the Vegas hotels.' A flight attendant named Jack stood up next. 'Hi, Katy. The casinos.' Angry Bob, excited by how much fun he was having on the flight, stood up next. 'Hi, Jack! This airplane!' T.S.A. officials arrested Bob upon arrival." Rat: Fun is overrated.

To give an idea of how overused the “Hi, Jack” joke really is, Wile E. Coyote used it in a 1970s’ “Road Runner” comic book.

At the risk of sounding like Vern from the Stand by Me movie: Why would the flight attendant wait for them to begin the descent…? Seems like it would be much more appropriate game for the beginning of the flight.

That’s an old joke, I first heard it back in the 70’s when the joke was that someone shouted Hi to his friend Jack across a crowded waiting lounge and got tackled and arrested by a nearby security guard.
