Hillary has clearly recovered. She’s well enough to dodge flying shoes, so she’s ready to be President.I have to admit my first thought after hearing Rove’s remarks, was when he sustained a head injury to explain his lack of competency.

How did Lil Georgie win an election with Rove advising him?

I suspect that he is afraid of becoming irrelevant.

Hillary running for president is making the conservatives crazy. It threatens their dream of owning the congress and the presidency so they can start telling everyone else how to live their lives. Kind of like the Muslim Brotherhood being in charge.

There is no “Axis of Evil”. That implies that there is a center about which it can spin. It’s more like a “Gravy of Evil”. An amorphous blob that both sides float around in, occasionally coming close enough to grapple with each other.

Let’s see…a football player who receives a head injury severe enough to keep them out for week is examined for brain injury. But a woman with a head injury that keeps her out for a month couldn’t possibly have a brain injury. Liberal logic again!

“Doonesbury” had the classic “Inside Reagan’s Brain” series way back when. It’s too bad Trudeau is on a long sabbatical because I’d love to see him destroy Rove brain cell by brain cell. (It might even take a full week!)

Little Karl Rove, proud graduate of the Joseph Goebbels School of Political Progaganda.“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it."

Love him or hate him, Mr. Rove’s handiwork usually gets the desired result.

Examples: he intimated that Ann Richards was a lesbian. No proof. GWBush is elected to the governorship of Texas.

In the run-up to the 2000 South Carolina primary, Rove-directed calls to potential voters about the person who defeated GWB in New Hampshire’s primary, John McCain. Voters were asked, “What would you do if you knew that John McCain had fathered an illegitimate black child?” Again, no proof, just smear, and he knew his audience. GWB wins the SC primary, and Mr. McCain drops out of the race, knowing that he does not have the stomach to out-Rove Rove.

It helps that Mr. Rove has a large audience ready to believe anything about anyone they want a reason to dislike.

If you want to know why our political landscape is so caustically divided, why people are so willing to hate, look no further than Mr. Rove. What really hurts is that so many are willing to buy what he’s selling.
