Why? Do you think he is more honest? Apparently not. Do you think the plans on his web site make sense? Only for those that can’t think or remember history. Because he’ll bring the country together? Because he has a COVID plan that requires killing the economy before his tax and regulation increases can do it? Why?

As I have explain innumerable times, if the media was really fair and honest, I doubt he would have a problem. But so far, their history is to take something out of context and try to make it look dishonest, even when it isn’t. The gullible have no way of accurately evaluating because, 1) they don’t understand tax code, 2) they wouldn’t begin to fathom a tax return that large.

I use Venezuela as example because it was a country that voted it in rather than having it imposed by a revolution. Here is some quick overview information on it.

Sorry, tabby. I know you mean well and believe what you say, but history and reality simply don’t agree. All government programs rely on robbing Peter to pay Paul. Then bureaucrats have the say about who gets what and how. SS and Medicare are Ponzi schemes. They use money taken from you to pay current needs. It is not put into trust for your future use and never has been. When you have a case like we have currently, with more people receiving than paying, it is not sustainable without taking more from you. The subtle result of government providing basic living services is dependency. If you are dependent on that money or service, you are a slave. Incidentally, if you believe that any of the European systems are better than ours, I would invite you to go live in one of those countries for a couple of years. If you are content living a lower middle class life, you might even like it.

Not showing you???? I told you to go to Biden’s web site, read and analyse his plans. Go to FOX News or the New York Post sites to get the information on the Biden family’s dealings with foreign countries, including the Chinese communist government. Yes, I’ll hear it from everyone, ‘FOX NEWS’, because an increasingly corrupt media refuses to report anything bad about Biden or any Democrat. Regardless of the source, facts are still facts. Biden’s tax on business plan will, again, drive businesses to more tax favorable countries. Any increase in their taxes will absolutely result in you paying more for goods and services. Attacking oil production will raise your gas and heating costs, while bringing us back into dependence on middle east oil again. Want proof of that? How about some history from the last 50 years.

I can see you have not read Joe’s tax plan on his web site. He highlights income tax on $400,000/up and rich companies, but the plan also calls for other taxes which will hit you directly. BTW, his ‘rich companies’ tax is tax on all companies, big, medium and small. All companies pass that tax on in the form of higher prices. So guess which gullible people really pay a tax increase on businesses? Do you really think you will see any of that tax on high income people? Not a chance. The only way it affects them is that they invest less and buy less. End result – fewer jobs.

Simply more Democrat/media propaganda. The U.S. has a lower mortality rate than most of the major Eurasian countries and the only way it goes away is with a vaccine, which he has done a tremendous job in facilitating and has set-up the logistics to quickly distribute it when available.

As I’ve said before, I don’t care whether he is under audit or not. Tax returns are no body else’s business. Look at all the foolishness from the unverified tax returns reported by the NYT. ‘In debt to Russian banks’ was the claim, when the article identified a well known international bank, Deutche Bank. ‘$400 million in debt, he’ll be subject blackmail!’ A simple internet search of properties owned by Trump would immediately show that amount to be small in comparison to assets. If the media was the least bit fair and honest, he probably could release his tax returns. But in the total absence of any sort of honest reporting, I’m with him.

  9. over 3 years ago on Mike Luckovich

The only thing verified was that a couple of anonymous sources made the claim. It was actually people with the President that claimed it never happened, not as you claim, people who weren’t there. The people who debunked it actually used their names.

Your attempt at redefining what is or is not socialism, who is or is not socialist, is ludicrous. Socialism usually occurs in steps sans a revolution. Read the history of Venezuela to see how it works. As each socialist program fails, government blames another part of the economy for the problem and then moves to control it. Government makes people dependent by removing options. Given our government’s failed attempts at social programs, e.g. the VA, Social Security, Medicare, Obamacare, myriads of welfare programs, why do you think it will suddenly become an efficient manager? Why do you think that once government has the population dependent on government, a multi-party system can exist?

I think you were misinterpreting who was promoting a civil war. Why do you think minorities would side with those trying to take over the country by force? Besides, as I pointed out, you can have all the weapons you want in the cities, but when the food, gas, ammunition and other resources run out, that is the end of rebellion.
