Funny, here in Michigan we justify packing a little whiskey in the winter by saying, “Just in case of a snow snake bite..”…Actually, a snow snake was a Woodland Indian winter game. …Basically a carved sliding stick slid for distance in the snow……

Richard, I live in Michigan. It’s so much more fun to be a Packers fan than a Lion’s fan….My mental health is so much better now….Did you see the outrage at the Minnesota, Packers game? In Lambeau Field, a Minnesota guy got a touchdown, found some Vikings fans and did a Lambeau Leap! Is that legal? Why wasn’t he arrested?..

Yeah, I imagine they’d have a perfectly normal, average, well-adjusted-to-reality-as-it-is type kid. They would be unable to understand the child and totally frustrated as parents.

" Can you imagine if Calvin and Dane grew up and had a kid together??". Google “Hobbes and Bacon” for a four part story of Calvin and Suzie grown up with a daughter named Bacon. @Varnes and all: W C Fields carried around a little liquor in case of snakebite, AND he carried around a little snake.

I know I am no more to Danae than a booger brained boy, but I love her sense of the absurd. I really do. In fact, we may have been separated at birth. Yeah, that’s it, we’re dizygotic twins.

@Wiley, I stared reading or at least looking at the Sunday funnies when I was about 4 or 5, back in the late 50’s. My first comiexposure began with “Bringing Up Father”, “Blondie”, “Beetle Bailey, Little Lulu”, etc. I’m sure I have forgotten some, and some are no longer around anywhere, but they taught me a deep appreciation for the comics, to this day.
