Jesus thought Hell was terrible too. That’s why he taught people to fear it and to do whatever was required to escape it. (E.g., Matthew 10:28). Indeed, Christ died in order to provide an escape from Hell for people, accessing the grace of God through faith in Christ.

You know what’s really funny, Michael? Comics making fun of our country’s opioid crisis and implying that being concerned about it is a falsehood or exaggeration for political gain. Classy stuff, Michael. I wonder how long you can continue to deceive yourself about the truth or ignore matters of moral urgency?

Democrats don’t need to go through such investigations to get the answer they want. They are quite willing to arrive immediately at the conclusions that justify their ideology, without stopping to wait for that pesky evidence to come in. Cf. Trump/Russia collusion. They had their “answer,” whether it made sense or not. Really, Democrat thinking is one big “Just award him the Nobel Peace Prize first, then ignore it if his actions don’t really live up to or justify it later.”

Yes, that is funny that you don’t feel it. Let me know when it hits you.

Yes. I know whom I have believeth (2 Timothy 1:12). I invite you to try it for yourself, to taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8).

Thank you for these links, Geezer. These are very powerful in supporting your claim that the people are themselves the militia—thus the need for widespread ownership of and familiarity with firearms in America.

Correct. And the person shouting is the one morally responsible for it.

Correct, the atheist Hawking expected no answers after death—no anything, really. (He may be surprised at his answers now). In life, though, the only “answers” he found were mechanical and formulaic—no real answers at all. It’s like someone asking why a child had to die in a school shooting and getting back the “answer” that F=MA and various laws of motion and propulsion. Oh, that explains it. Mechanical description—even if accurate—holds no answers to the deep questions of the soul.

Alternatively, Stephen Hawking: “Remember to look up to God and not down at your shoes.” There is more to life than mere matter. I assume he has discovered this for himself by now.

Why is the leftist knee-jerk response to finding conservative women always misogyny? It’s like they can’t imagine that someone would disagree with them. Leftists need to get out more and expose themselves to people who disagree with them instead of holing up is sequestered leftist citadels. Hillary just recently blamed the reason women voted against her for their male husbands, brothers, bosses, etc. coercing them into it. She deserves what she has received for her foolishness and corruption. You see what happens when you drink deeply of the poison of identity politics! This leftist attack on women must stop.
