Evie’s granddaughters — mostly Alex — will be disappointed again that Evie travels the world.
Poor Arnold, I’m pretty sure that all South Africans would feel like this in the current weather in the USA. We have such glorious sunny weather most of the time. Johannesburg has very cold winters but the sun still shines.
Looks like two old hippies going somewhere
Obviously they don’t live in Missouri or Kansas where you can have zero one day and a couple of days later its in the 60’s. However, there is more likely to be sunshine at zero than 60.
Based on the weather at the airport, they won’t be going anywhere for a while (unless it’s O’Hare, they’re amazing at removing the snow).
Love Phoenix. Low last night was 63.
I wondered why the grandmother was around so much. Have a warm time.
Ahh, true love!
And so they head to the airport in short sleeves. It’s always good to arrive soaking wet.
Wow, they sure broke a record packing.
Was wondering how long before they’d become snowbirds!
I know exactly how Arnold feels. We moved to North Idaho from Southern California to be closer to family. I hate the cold!!!
There goes part of Val and Joan’s inheritance!!
Arnold came off his chill once at the airport fast.
Is Arnold South African? I was thinking: Hawaii! 82 F average temp year round. Gentle, mostly, NE Trade winds. Lovely place.
She’s a good wife!
Ugh, bright sunshine, blue skies. Yuck! Clouds reflect sunlight back into space. Clear skies don’t.
Is Arnold looking out a window? Looks like he’s standing outside wrapped in a quilt.
Why doesn’t Evie visit her girls and grandgirls in the SUMMER when its warm where Arnold will still enjoy the warmth of the summer? Arnold clearly is not a cold weather kind of guy. She had to see the girls during the Wisconsin winter. And why doesn’t Arnold fly the Stone family to Africa for Christmas if that’s the reason Evie drags Arnold to Wisconsin. He’s rich.
