When Mangayamma gave birth, she was naturally the talk of the town. One friend came over and asked to see the babies. M said that she can see them when it’s feeding time. The first friend finally decided to ask why they had to wait. M said that she forgot where she put the babies and had to wait until they started crying in order to find them.
Sarah, Abraham’s wife, was 90 when she gave birth to Isaac the miraculous promised son. And that’s not counting the mothers right after Creation, who lived hundreds of years, many of which were childbearing years. =)But for the past few centuries, 74 is pretty impressive!

Identical quadruplets would have to be the same sex. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be identical.

Using throwaway baby bottles, or at least the nipples, might have been a virus-avoidance safety measure. Probably would have worked well.
Guess the random factor insures that enough armadillos of opposite genders were delivered. Otherwise extinction would have been guaranteed.
The drawing of the ‘oldest’ mamma seems to show her as very tired. Don’t blame her. And twins no less.
