I can read analog, but it takes me a minute, and I’d rather just look at a digital display. A couple years ago, I asked my 60-something coworker what time it was, and she said, “Seriously?” because my brain had long ago opted to ignore the vintage analog clock hanging right behind me.
I’ve never seen the info about this vizier and Pharaoh’s location at the time. But I do know from Hebrews 11:24-26 some details about his mindset upon adulthood: he “refused to be called the son of Pharaoh, choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. He considered the reproach of Christ greater wealth than the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking to the reward.” Stephen also tells us “it entered his mind to visit” his brethren one day (Acts 7:22). Then, when Pharaoh was trying to kill him for killing an Egyptian, Moses didn’t fear Pharaoh’s anger while fleeing (Heb. 11:27)—maybe he was afraid of being jailed or killed and not achieving God’s purpose for him.
Subway worker is my guess. Not sure why.
