Mmm yeah Earl cinnamon rolls.

I just made my husband buttery Wisconsin smash burgers. He is now asleep. That is all.

Really, you really just need 3 cinnamon rolls, right?

It is hard to read with sticky fingers, so I can see just going with the cinnamon rolls.

and something to drink to wash those rolls down!

Cinnamon rolls with butter, I just went through that craving. GLAD that’s gone!

I’m partial to a good cinnamon roll myself, there’s a local bakery that makes delicious giant ones (at least 6 inches across!) but you have to watch who’s serving that day, some of the workers (usually the teenagers!) will literally drown the roll in frosting! You might think there’s no such thing as too much frosting but they put the roll in 1 of those big square Styrofoam take-out boxes and add so much frosting you can’t even see the roll, it just looks like a giant container of frosting!

A successful man knows what is important in life. Earl is a successful man.

An occasional cinnamon roll sounds great, but I’ll stay away from a whole plate of them. Just lost a huge amount of weight for the half dozenth time and have no desire to look like that again.

My Father used to call them "cement buns "never figured out why!

Although Earl considers himself as a simple man, I’m sure Opal would add a litany of complex faults. At least she’s not there to take issue with you so enjoy your revery for the moment, Earl!

For those curious for smash burgers! I use a mix of ground sirloin, chuck and t-bone. Mix and season with salt and pepper. Form 3-4oz balls and pop on hot oiled cast iron or griddle pan. Let cook one minute then flip and smash outward with a heavier metal spatula. Top with cheese and cook 2-3 mins more. The thin patties allow for the malliard reaction, or the super crispy crunchy caramelized like bits to occur super fast. Serve with whatever ya like of course! This had really been a lot of fun! Never would have thought a simple post would cause as many comments as it has! I hope y’all explore cooking if you haven’t yet or even up your repertoire if you do enjoy cooking! A new recipe to make your own is always exciting and at times challenging and maybe try to come up with a rendition using basic instructions and roll with it! I love cooking and hope to spread it to others! Real door opener to the world around you.

A friend of mine said she needs just three things to be happy: coffee with real cream, talk radio, and the obituaries. Of course, that was back when the local newspaper ran obituaries, and people routinely subscribed to newspapers.

And a hot beverage. It’s getting on to hot mulled cider time for me, so that will do nicely in the afternoon with a roll or two.

What Earl calls cinammon “rolls”, I’ve always called cinammon “buns”. Maybe it’s a Philly thing …
