Yeah, I followed the directions to build a cabinet. From my woodworking magazine. Went to put the inset doors in and it wouldn’t work, the plans were flawed. No big deal, I modified it and made them overlay doors instead. A lot of instructions come from China and are just pictures you need to decipher.

Only one page? Even the instructions on how to open the box are longer than that.

About 40 years ago, I put together a computer table from Ikea and I still have it! Now it’s my sewing machine table!

When all else fails….

The problem is that the pictograph instructions are actually harder to use for people who can read.Plus every IKEA thing I’ve put together, something has always been drilled wrong & I must redrill it correctly to fit!

As if that’ll help.

Even Loretta is so deluded as to think the instructions will help.

Clue: they don’t have any words. The “art” is of limited help.

Amazing that they even found their way out of the Ikea.

I see the problem, it didn’t include the allen wrench.

I feel your pain, Leroy! It’s hard to finally surrender to reading the directions.

Am I the only person who has never been to Ikea?

Why doesn’t Loretta put the furniture together seeing how she thinks she knows it all

I put together a futon frame and the instructions were in Chinese. I figured it out.

My wife doesn’t like it when I follow the instructions.
