The colleges have discovered that the TV networks are so desperate for anything to put on the air, they will pay billions of $$$$$ for even the worst college teams & conferences. And I don’t watch any of it, I’ve had it with all sports, it’s now just the greedy billionaires [including the college presidents & their boards] versus the greedy millionaires or in the case of the college players, future millionaires, although a few are now making big bucks due to NIL money, AKA the players!
The Chicago Tribune Syndicate distributes a weekly column called “Celebrity Travel”. The problem is, I’ve never heard of any of those so-called celebrities!
And Fred Foy was the announcer, he later was Dick Cavett’s announcer & once did that voice over on Cavett’s show. It was still great!
