Hey, at least they are doing a little better than bevis and butthead. I mean really, where is the bar on cartoon drawing. Somewhere between stick man and Avatar you have to draw the budget line.
Even they can’t escape the ravages of time.
Except for the part about the glasses being glued to Mikes face! ;o]
They look a lot better than they did 49 years ago!
I hadn’t previously noticed that Mike and Zonker could almost be brothers – they share the family nose.
Just get Bill Watterson to draw the strip for a week. Worked great for Pastis’ Pearls Before Swine strip!
And within a few years, Mike, you’ll be getting gray at the temples, just like we all do. :-)
The drawing got better after Trudeau became prime minister of Canada ;-)
