NEVER give a gift that means work, unless the recipient specifically asks for it. He’s gonna be lucky if she doesn’t smack him with that broom. A vacuum cleaner is too heavy to swing properly.

And she’s happy the handle is so long, so you won’t twist you back while you’re trying to pull it out of where she’s about to put it.

Old school is the best school. You know those new fangled conviences just arn’t as good as an old fashioned floor sweeper.AND THINK OF THE SAVINGS IN ELECTRICITY.With new programs one could save dollars. Yes, DOLLARS on your bill. Show the electric company your power to control your usage. Shoot I even watch TV by candle light.Wife’s idea. Didn’t say it was a good one.

One Christmas my Dad gave my Mom a snow shovel. He didn’t bother to wrap it, just tied a big red bow around it. My Mom went out later to shovel the driveway and left the bow on it. The neighbors stood around howling, and my Dad wound up being quite embarrassed. (He did give her lots of nice things, but he usually gave some sort of gag present too. That time my Mom got him back for it.)
