It was a two hour softball session in which putin not only used “he who tucks” carlson as a platform to make his crackpot claim that Ukraine is not a country, to criticize the US for helping Ukraine, and putin took the time to point out and laugh at carlson because he was rejected by the CIA.

The only time carlson spoke up was when he stupidly asked about the release of WSJ reporter Evan Gershkovich, and he screwed that up by saying, " maybe he was breaking your law in some way but he’s not a super-spy and everyone knows that.

Gershkovich was not breaking the law.

carlson had the nerve to say that “not a single Western journalist has bothered to interview the president of” Russia since the nation launched its offensive against Ukraine in February 2022.

That was so stupid, even Russia shot it down. A kremlin rep said they had received “numerous requests for interviews with the president".

Apparently, putin was waiting for just the right useful idiot to talk to.

sucker carlson proved he was most certainly more than willing to be that idiot.

Putin droned on about the history of the region… didnt seem to trust Tucker, alluding to his attempts to get into the CIA and actually joked a bit about Tucker being behind the Nord stream bombing….

I admire Carlson for having the courage to get a Putin interview. To get the other sides perspective up close is information worth pursuing. That’s something no democrat could do, but are good at vitriol as seen by the posts here.
