Probably this has been mentioned many times in the comments for other strips. After all, there have been a lot of takes on “The Princess and the Frog”. But in the original Grimm fairy tale, the frog turns back into a human prince when the princess throws him against a wall. When it was retold in English, this was changed to the princess kissing him.
