At first, they told her it wasn’t the mange, and sold her meds for one thing and another – nothing helped.. eventually they took a sample of skin scrapings and sent them off to be tested.
By the time they got the results, the dog had been cured by a remedy the old farmer had given her..

A different species of mite causes ‘mange’ in humans. When these mites affect people, it is known as scabies. And needs treatment.
