    At some point that was a reputable profession and, in many ways, the only opportunity for the public to see new products….. Fuller Brush being the one that comes to mind, followed by the very rich Encyclopedia Britannica salesman.

    Here we go again: the door-to-door salesman who sold back-to-back tape for wall-to-wall carpeting in Walla Walla, WA.

    I’m pretty sure I first saw that in the original BC.
