Elly makes GOOD cookies!

A friend of mine had an older brother who was home from college, he was in the kitchen making himself some lunch and my friend says to him, “I can tell you’re a college student, you sniffed everything you pulled out of the fridge to see if it was still good before you used it!” Tru story!

A wise and careful person!

Mike’s piggishness contrasts with his “Jesus wannabe” physical appearance.

With his long hair and beard, Mike looks a bit like Dave Grohl.

Also crumbs in your beard and mustache.

Wow these university dorm kids are simply brilliantly smart just like Inspector Columbo.

Who else would have known that Michael would have eaten up all the cookies that Michael’s mom sent him to eat up? Certainly it wasn’t Michael himself in panel 4 that came to that conclusion.

What a slob.

So lick it off his neck for him!!

Stat calm, Michael! There is a very high chance that what you’ve ate were not cookies at all!

Dislike this character even more now that the slob has all that hair. Character remains unchanged.

He resembles the son of a friend of mine who got out of the service and stopped getting haircuts and grew a mustache and beard.

I know, Ms. Johnston, tells us that this is Mike but are we absolutely sure that it is ? It doesn’t look like him to me even accounting for the facial hair.

Those aren’t crumbs. That’s beard dandruff. Dude needs to actually wash that thing.

Weed’s neck and Michael’s beard both have the same talent. They can change size and shape from moment to moment.

Michael, you Cookie Monster, you! Um Num num num

A plunging neckline will do that to you.

I’m sure Mike shared with his dorm mates.

Dang I miss the college life sometimes

Did they have the same enthusiasm for the care package of a green shirt, soup mix, and a box of Kraft dinner, which Elly sent instead of money?

I sent son snacks for important times in college – Halloween, and week before exams. (he was home for Bday and Xmas)

Beards are to locomotives as crumb catchers are to cattle guards.

Watch when Michael goes home and gets a dinner of bean curd. When Michael asks what happened to those great cookies he got, Elly will respond “That was then, this is now. This family will be healthy from now on. No child of mine will sponge off OHIP!”

That’s the way the cookie crumbles.

Ah, those telltale crumbs. Drat!
