My parents had my room rented out two months after I went off to school. True story.

Liz forgot to add that her brother will be spending all his time with his friends and none with his family.

I found out that when mine left for college it was final. Oh sure they came home, but as adults. The “kids” were gone. Sigh…

Would kill to have my stinky, sloppy son back again

The Sunday strip must have been out of order.

This is my song today. Our younger daughter came home on Thursday, and we’re picking up the older one this afternoon; and, to quote Elly, I CAN’T WAIT!!!! (For the record, the younger one has already started taking over some of the household chores, voluntarily.)

I hope this is how my parents felt whenever I came home from school during college…

Why did they post this today??? should have been Sundays strip and Sundays strip should have been today. Silly.

Elly misses her son and doesn’t care what sort of a mess he causes!

Using my ESP …. I see Mike returning home ,wit a moostash and Prince Valiant haircut.

Time usually moves on. Parents, not so sure.

Liz: “I dunno why you’re tidying Mike’s room, Mom. Nobody has been in here in the three months since you last tidied it when Mike left.”

I predict that Michael will come home with long hair and a beard. And tonight’s lotto numbers will be 6, 13, 14, 27, 31, 39.

The neater she makes it, the more his mess will stand out: thus the “comfort” of family coming back home again when love is involved. Gotta love some of these Moms :)

Is Elly bipolar? Must be as yesterday she did not say “welcome home” or “good morning” to her son; instead yelling AAUGH! to Michael. Now she is like this.

Seems like bipolar disorder could be affecting Canadian women, as it had with Margot Kidder. Better take Elizabeth and April to a doctor.

My brother was a slob at home. Soon as he got his own place – it was spotless.

When he gets here? He was already there yesterday.

A couple more panels could have been added, like her straightening up more areas and used on Sunday. Then Sunday’s comic could have been broken down into comics for today and tomorrow. Maybe Lynn Johnson was checking to see if we were paying attention!!!!

I would love to have a room for my son to stay in when he visits for holidays.

That would be funny if Michael had an afro and had taken an overdose of tanning pills in order to get a scholarship for black students; just like Soul Man.

Wait a minute! Yesterday’s comic had Michael the beatnik already home. Are these out of order?
