Trump was a practitioner of what Bush the Elder called “Voodoo Economics”.

Buttercup resembles a typical tv ad for anything – overblown, overhyped, and overpriced.

Evidently, you can get that grilled cheese for half that at the clubhouse in Mar-a-Lago. and for special customers, as souvenirs.. it comes wrapped in secret documents.

That $1.3 Million cost is all due to the fact that the fries are Trump fries. The Trump brand adds $1 Million to the “value”

    By the numbers:

An NFL Football field is 47,970 square feet (excluding the end zones). The 30,000 square feet that Trump claims the size of his apartment, is approximately the field between the 20 yard lines. That’s 2/3 of an acre. One might notice that your apartment isn’t as big as a football field.

Google maps and some high school geometry reveals, as others have reported, that the footprint of the building is approximately 11,000 square feet. That’s at the base. The upper floors are recessed and have a smaller area. So, unless his apartment is on three floors, he’s well off the mark.

The entire block on which Trump Tower sits is 45,000 square feet. Trump’s claim is that he owns 2/3 of that. The building occupies about 1/3 of the block (including frontage and sidewalks.)

He now claims that the apartment includes the roof and the airspace above it. The top of the building appears to have air conditioning units and other equipment. Unless he pitches a tent up there, I don’t think he uses it much.

All you have to do is take a look at it (the sandwich/fries combo) to know it’s worth $1.3M.

Donald tRump: Trump said “all you have to do is look at a picture of a building” to understand its value.

Maybe the value of trump’s properties are so high because he raised the value, using the power he possesses to make things happen "by just thinking about it”, like he does with hundreds and hundreds of classified documents that he says are declassified now because he thought on ’em.

Unless it’s going to be taxed. Then it’s worth about $0.10. Or maybe less.

If anyone had read the book by his niece, none of this should come as a surprise. She describes all of his criminal activities with which he is now being charged. I’m surprised that they haven’t called her as a witness.

I cannot understand these comments on the subject here. Whether or not you will listen to this: WEALTH IS NOT INHERENTLY EVIL, AND NEITHER ARE THOSE WITH WEALTH.

I’m not a lawyer, but isn’t this case as simple as comparing the numbers Trump used on his taxes to the numbers on the loan applications?

Tax forms and other legal documents CLEARLY state that the person signing documentation is NOT exempt from responsibility. Are the Trump children really that stupid or do they actually think they’re clever?
