Today’s my slug day after helping with the grandkids all week, taking them trick or treating yesterday afternoon in the local downtown. But the wife mentioned a couple of things she wants to do today so I’ll be on driving duty. Doesn’t bother me.

There’s nothing like a day of football, and this is nothing like a day of football.

Sorry Daryl, as a dad, you don’t usually get to have a choice.

The only way I could get my ex to take part of a family outing was to imply that he wasn’t welcome. As soon as we reached our destination he would disappear until I was finished getting the children ready to go home. We often had to wait an additional hour or so before he was ready.

Wanda gets her “me time” in the tub with her wine and scented candles. Why can’t Darryl have some “me time” to, as he says, recharge his batteries? Let Wanda, Zoe and Wren go to the puppet show and let Darryl and Hammie do what THEY like.

It’s Sunday, which means it’s time for Football. Nothing else matters, wife says differently.

Could always pull a Homer Simpson and pop in ear buds…“IT’S GOOD!!”

Still think it’s good that he got chores done early!
