Yes it’s obvious, the person responsible for the theft is Lisa Benson. She’s not in the picture because she’s the one drawing the cartoon. She is guilty because she backs a guy who is facing more than 91 felony charges, is found guilty of sexual assault and corporate fraud to be not held responsible for those crimes but also become the next president of the US as well.

How can we expect Anyone to follow the law under such circumstances ?

It’s the Orange Traitor who tried to steal and election, and actually stole, and likely shared classified information. It’s the entire Republican Party that attack and will try to obstruct justice to allow the Orange Criminal to get away with his crimes. You know the law and order Repubs that want to disband the FBI, CIA, etc. so they can create a completely corrupt organization that will do their bidding without question.

Save Democracy and real freedom, Vote Democratic up and down the ticket.

No, actually it’s not “obvious”. There are many factors that have led to these circumstances. What does “tough on crime” actually mean? Preemptive imprisonment? Saudi Arabian style of punishment?

If just being “tough on crime” were the ONLY answer, and we already have more imprisoned than most every other country, why is there still crime?

Gosharooties! These complaints would be a lot more believable if Republicans weren’t threatening judges, subverting law enforcement, attempting to impeach prosecutors, supporting criminals, promising to pardon convicted insurrectionists, ignoring corrupt Supreme Court justices, and championing an indicted traitor.

Good grief; pick up any Introductory Psychology text or any study on punishment. Harsher punishments never lead to less crime and in many cases, increases it.

Give me ONE situation or study that shows harsher punishment has led to lower crime rates.

This is why Democrat run cities, like NYC, Chicago, San Fran, Baltimore, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Cleveland, Washington DC, Milwaukee, Oakland, Colorado Springs, Durham, Birmingham, all have crime problems. You Dims just ignore it.

Refusing to prosecute entire categories of misdemeanor crimes, including theft, drug possession, shoplifting, receiving stolen property, breaking and entering, destruction of property, disturbing the peace, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and more.

Forbidding prosecutors from including sentencing enhancements orallegations of prior convictions or special circumstances for egregiouscrimes or actions.

Forbidding prosecutors from seeking the death penalty in any case.

Forbidding prosecutors from seeking life without parole sentencesfor any crime.

Refusing to prosecute violent teenagers in adult court for such crimesas murder, child abuse, and rape.

Requiring prosecutors to ask for the release of duly convicted violentfelons, whose appeals have been denied, after these felons have servedas least 15 years of a longer sentence.

Prohibiting or limiting prosecutors from asking for bail to ensure thepresence of the defendant at the next court hearing and/or taking intoconsideration the defendant’s prior criminal record.

Crime is at an historic low in all categories. You don’t have to believe me, look it up in any crime data base (I would give you links, but GoComics seems to be frowning on that these days). Crime peaked in the USA in the 90’s and has steadily declined through republican and democratic administrations everywhere in the US. Property crime is literally half of what it was in the 1990’s. That does not mean there is no crime or that there aren’t local rises, but you are afer than ever in US history from crime.

Of course, that is not a message that Republicans feel they can sell their policies, so they lie.

This one is from the New York Times, but it could come from any reliable source. You would think our GOP friends would be tired of getting schooled on this issue. But source free commentary is their fundamental operating system:

“Crime is a complicated issue, touching on personal disputes, the economy, social services and, really, almost every other aspect of society. Only a few factors are significant enough to make a big difference by themselves — and partisanship is not one of them.”

State Fact SheetsGeorgetown Law Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protectionwww law Georgetown edu

ICAP has created fact sheets for all 50 states explaining the laws barring unauthorized private militia groups and what to do if groups of armed individuals are near a polling place or voter registration drive.

Select a state from the menu below to view the corresponding fact sheet.

For instance, Colorado: How do I know if a group of armed people is an unauthorized private militia?Groups of armed individuals that engage in paramilitary activity or law enforcement functions without being called forth by a governor or the federal government and without reporting to any government authority are acting as unauthorized private militias.

Does the Second Amendment protect private militias? No. In fact, the Supreme Court decided in 1886—and repeated in 2008—that the Second Amendment “does not prevent the prohibition of private paramilitary organizations.”

Is it legal to act as a private militia in Colorado? No. ALL 50 STATES PROHIBIT PRIVATE, UNAUTHORIZED MILITIAS AND MILITARY UNITES FROM ENGAGING IN ACTIVITIES RESERVED FOR THE STATE MILITIA, INCLUDING LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES. SOME, INCLUDING COLORADO, ALSO PROHIBIT PARAMILITARY ACTIVITY DURING OR IN FURTHERANCE OF A CIVIL DISORDER.

@Simply Red and : You want ideas? Here we go:

Most people occupying jail in the US are there for non-violent drug offenses. I have a family member who was lost to drugs for a long time and ended up in jail. Fortunately, at the time, there were counselors and resources available to turn his life around 180 degrees. He gets his 20-year chip soon.

The state he was in has discontinued those programs. He states without hesitation that he’d still be on drugs if he hadn’t had the opportunity he did. Is “lock-em-up and throw away the key” really wise?

Whether anyone wants to believe it or not, more Whites ended up with warnings about drug use than Blacks, who often ended up in jail. This goes also for tail-lights that are out, not signalling a lane change, and selling one cigarette at a time.

When a father goes to jail, the father’s job is probably gone for good, even if the father is determined to be innocent. The boss needs someone there every day, and every day that the father can’t afford bail makes it that much harder to find a new job when he finally gets out. Many jail populations are majority awaiting trial; the convicted inmates are in the minority. What does that say about a court backlog?

Almost no state provides drug-discontinuation counseling or even meds to help the inmate kick the habit.

And without fathers at home, the kids will get into trouble because mom has to work two low-paying (because she’s a woman) jobs and can’t watch them all the time because child care is too expensive. The kid goes to Juvey, where he learns that the best way to earn respect from your peers is to be the baddest of the bad, or at least to brag about that. Then they get out of Juvey and feel they have to PROVE they’re the baddest of the bad.

Please count the number of societal failures enumerated above, and don’t believe that this even scratches the surface. To blame one party for one policy is short-sighted, naive, and intentionally ignorant.

Last time I looked, it was the republican cult that was against gun control. Let’s look at some statistics shall we?

“A Third Way report found that between 2000 and 2020, Trump-voting states had 12% higher murder rates than did Biden-voting cities.”

#1: “Mississippi (had a firearm mortality rate of 33.9, making it the state with the highest rate in 2021. The state also used its electoral votes to vote for then President Trump in the 2020 election.”

#2: “Louisiana had a firearm mortality rate of 29.1 and voted for Trump.”

#3: “Alabama had a firearm mortality rate of 26.4 and voted for Trump.”

#4: “Wyoming had a firearm mortality rate of 26.1 and voted for Trump.”

#5: “Alaska had a firearm mortality rate of 25.2 and voted for Trump.”

#6: “Montana had a firearm mortality rate of 25.1 and voted for Trump.”

Now, let’s look at the other side of the coin, shall we, with the STATES WITH THE LOWEST GUN DEATH RATES.#1: “Massachusetts has a firearm mortality rate of 3.4 and voted for Biden.”

#2: “Hawaii has a firearm mortality rate of 4.8 and voted for Biden.”

#3: “New Jersey has a firearm mortality rate of 5.2 and voted for Biden.”

#4: “New York has a firearm mortality rate of 5.4 and voted for Biden.”

#5: “Rhode Island has a firearm mortality rate of 5.6 and voted for Biden.”

#6: “Connecticut has a firearm mortality rate of 6.7 and voted for Biden.”>

They (the dems) are letting crime run rampant in west coast cities.

The propaganda media is covering this up. As you can see from a lot of these comments, The brainwashed wokes have really been taken in by the propaganda.

The fact that businesses are closing down and that the Tide and the ice cream in Seattle are locked up just goes over their empty heads.

While I am not sure what the end game is here, one thing I have noticed is that high priced property in cities that are very expensive as far as real estate goes, such as Portland, San Francisco and Los Angeles, are transferring ownership for pennies on the dollar.

Somebody is very quietly making a lot of money.

Nineteen people down in Atlanta would beg to differ. Also no cash bail does not mean that anyone accused of a crime goes free. It means that anyone accused of a non violent offense who cannot post bail don’t have to sit in jail until their trial comes up.I wish these morons would get that straight.

YUP, especially when it comes to the Bribems criminal activities:

Legal expert Mike Davis shed light on the real backstage maneuvering through a series of insightful posts on platform X:

Don’t be fooled. Both Democrat senators picked Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss. Protected Bidens for years. Let statute of limitations expire on tax charges. Buried credible evidence of Bidens’ foreign bribery. Tried to give Hunter secret immunity.

Biden knows he can’t pardon Hunter now. Politically and legally disastrous. If pardoned, Hunter can’t plead the Fifth and refuse to testify before Congress. Same with plea/immunity deal with Weiss. So Weiss’s bogus charges shield Hunter. And Joe. They’ll fix after election.
