The Christie cutout has moved again. It has turned out to be the most interesting and least annoying character in the strip. I vote for a reboot of this comic with it as the main character. “Christie (cutout) to replace Crankshaft.”

What in the world do a couple of young girls want to talk about with a bunch of old people who just criticize them? And sit there for hours on end?

Batty-ick just loves his manifestations. How about this… A comic arc between the Book Club Ghoul, Les Moore’s Feline of Self-Doubt, Jff’s Comic Book Howdy-Dooty Boy, and the Ghost of Dead Lisa just for fun?

The twins must have got her off topic…….best trick in school.

What book were they (talking about) reading? It’s been two whole days since Todd showed us the front cover, and I’ve forgotten.

Must not have been a very good one, as they couldn’t find and positive reviews for the back cover.

I enjoy reading books a great deal, but discussing them takes a lot away from the enjoyment.

If they didn’t get to discussing the book, exactly what, or, who were they discussing?

Why is Mary Worth standing there looking judgmental? I mean, of course she’s looking judgmental because she’s Mary Worth, but why is she there?

See? I told you if we were patient and waited for Saturday we’d get rewarded with a Lillian classic zinger!

Says every book group I’ve belonged to, except the ones at a bookstore.

Nighttime already? Much like an alien abduction, Lillian’s book club is an unpleasant experience rife with confusion, a rollercoaster of emotions, and missing time.

As Molly Bloom should have said, “no I said no I won’t No”

Gotta admit, this strip has an identifiable punchline! And I’d like to think also a comment on how interminable this arc has been, but TB ain’t got the ability to question himself.
