People don’t believe he was a Russian “secret agent”, but he was definitely a Russian sympathizer, what with giving them classified intel right in the oval office.
But more to the point, people believe that Russia interfered with the 2016 election, which they did.
The Russians wouldn’t have someone so stupid as an agent when they could easily get what they want by stroking his ego with a compliment or two and helping him win an election..
Is Trump working FOR the Russians? No. He’s working for himself. It just so happens that his interests and Russian interests coincide. Trump was more than happy to take advantage of that FACT.
Trump never felt that he was OUR president. We were HIS people.
The effectiveness of the Russiagate propaganda campaign is clearly demonstrated by the comments here.
As for elections, I still maintain that the main cheating is taking place through black-box tabulators and voting machines, a methodology supported by both Democrats and Republicans. Other approaches are heinous, but they’re a sideshow compared to computerized counting.
Right winger dictators are very confused creatures, they should be required to take an intelligence test before being allowed to vote. They don’t appear to comprehend reality.
When you have a president who has business dealings in other countries (and who at one point bragged about them, then at another denied them), and who announced he trusted the word of a dictator over his own intelligence services, and who considered that dictator’s unprovoked attack on a neighboring country to be “SMART”, and good leadership, there is a sense he does not share the values most Americans share. And when, during an election campaign he invites a certain foreign country to interfere against his opponent , and whips up his crowds to admire that foreign interference, and who admits he would accept that foreign country’s help again in getting elected on live TV, you have to question who’s side he is on.
And I think the answer is he is on his own side. And the rest of the country doesn’t matter as long as he gets what he wants. Regardless of the cost to the rest of the country.
People believe what they want! That is why it is so important to try to listen to both sides. Yes I read RedState, Breitbart, DailyWire, I also go to CNN. Several others. The trouble is, everyone has made up their minds. There is no objectivity anymore, Everyone has their hearts on their sleeve.
The Russians masters of “Kompromat.” What is that, you ask? Kompromat is damaging information about a politician, a businessperson, or other public figure, which may be used to create negative publicity or used for blackmail. Can you imagine someone with a more fragile ego than DJT? Other than his soft spot for dictators (i.e. Bad Vlad and Kim), who would be more vulnerable to blackmail?
This is absolutely the definition of Whataboutism, pointing to an unrelated offense to duck having to deal with the question being asked or point being raised. Trump filed 61 lawsuits claiming election fraud and his GOP/MAGA adherents desperately tried to find proof that the election was stolen but no such evidence could be found because this claim is utterly false. Various indictment witnesses (all Republicans, btw) have submitted a preponderance of evidence that Trump was told he lost, knew he lost, and seriously tried to overturn the legitimate election results through contacting state election officials and various other means.
Whatabout the one’s of us who believe Trump was a Russian ASSET, whether through blackmail, money laundering, or Deutsche Bank loans, Putin had him by the gon@ds.
Nobody says that Trump is a Russian secret agent. Rather, he’s been described by some as a Russian asset, a term that doesn’t mean he’s doing their direct bidding. His echoing of Russian talking points could be a result of their having compromising information on him or of his simply being a useful idiot—someone who makes arguments in their favor without comprehending them. Either would make him an asset, but not a spy.
Trump met privately with Russians and he gave them Israeli intelligence. He pardoned Manafort and Flynn to prevent them from flipping on him. Not “secret agent”, Trump is a Russian patsy.

Trump is too stupid to be a Russian agent; him and his henchmen were however useful fools and our intelligence intercepts bear this out.

It’s not a secret, it’s plainly obvious that the Russians own him.

I never thought trump was a Russian agent. He was a useful idiot for the Russians, doing whatever he could to get their approval.

Why does Trump love Putin so much? Two reasons.
1. Putin is hundreds of times wealthier than him. Cause for admiration.
2. He wants Putin to succeed in recreating the Soviet Union so the United States can apply for membership.

It’s only “Whataboutism” when your point of view doesn’t coincide with that of the liberals. Because, after all, they know better than you.

Trump isn’t smart enough for that. He was a Russian stooge. A Russian pawn. A Russian tool. Not an agent.
