Station to Station? Audie’s boss, I presume. He sports a Bowie look from the Let’s Dance era. While not as memorable as Ziggy or the Thin White Duke, it was his commercial peak. Waiting for the money will prove foolish. Sprocket should rocket but has no idea that her good life is drawing to a close.

IMHO, many people who go the fireworks route never think what’s being celebrated and are just looking for a change to cut loose.

They finally took complaints seriously here. $200 fine for a first offense, $400 for second.

It was a lot quieter here last night than in former years.

Never thought when I started reading this story, gifts from Mike were waiting for me. “The Bends”, “Vertigo” and “Whiplash”. Getting introduced to more characters such as this fellow than I can shake a stick at. Is he headed to a radio station? Who was his mentor, Dr. Johnny Fever.

To think all this started with telemarketers’ heck maybe I dreamt that too.

It seems like Dick Tracy the comic strip has turned into Dick Tracy the ensemble.

Egad! It’s frustrating: I seem to"know" that I’ve seen this frizzle-haired guy before, but I cannot remember where or when! —Not even certain it was in this comic strip.

Be that as it may, out of his own mouth, it seems today’s featured cast member is a hired gunsel, probably the one who whacked Mr. Anders, and that if he can successfully collect his fee from whomever hired him, he could simply drop out of the story until next time a shooter was needed.

Anent the seasonal fireworks: as I type, multiple repeated explosive detonations can be heard (by me) from nearby. In fact, there have been fireworks going off around where I am at least since Saturday. Yet, curiously, unlike in past years, I have not so far seen as any rocket bursts….

There appear to be a lot of abandoned buildings that the bad guys can secretly adapt to their own use.
