Poor neighbor!

As I was walking home last night at dark, I saw a small bottle rocket skidding horizontally across the road in front of me, and explode without setting off a fire. And my city has a firework ban. Amateurs.

Not my favorite Martin? Rover looks adorable with his head popping out of the blanket. Great smile in the last frame. So good

Sounds like the beginning of a prolonged lawsuit.

Awe! Martin is in big trouble, making Red appear even more angelic! I had to get up and soothe my Lizzie last night. But she’s okay this morning!

We had three people near the house firing off skyrockets, which are illegal in Oregon, but they are sold anyway. Plus, there’s a total burn ban in effect. Zero response from the police, about what I expected.

I worry about this! My inconsiderate neighbors, on one side, blew them up continually for 2 hours. 9-11:00 pm

I smell a lawsuit.

Loud fireworks all around me until 2am. Beagle not a fan, even with the trazodone. Very little sleep for both of us. And now it’s WEDNESDAY?!? This week is annoying LOL.

Awww… just a little longer in bed with my bud.

This kid is going places. Juvie, jail, or the hospital aren’t one of them. At least not this time.

That happened to a neighbour many years ago, but it was their own kid who set off the bottle rocket that burned their roof down and extensively damaged the home. (Like needing to be rebuilt). The idiot in question went to “military school” after that for about 4 years.

You are the golden child to me everyday and Martin is in deep doo doo…..

I fear my neighbors who have the extensive collection of likely illegal fireworks every year might have a fire in their garage. If all that stuff goes off at once, I am going to lose my home, too.

Last fall I felt a tremor in my house and a few minutes later I found out a house exploded and was leveled a few miles away from me and killed a 19-year-old kid, and it was fireworks that went off! ☹️

Nothing that spectacular locally. Thankfully. Hope all the pets and people here made it OK.
