Something like $8,000 to $18,000 on average for a Sea-Doo waverunner, depending on model. Average cost to have a child born is around $14,000. Decisions, decisions.

Sadly, Clayton’s way of thinking is too prevalent today in so-called “adults”—especially those in positions of power.

In the next scene, there’s a speedboat full of child welfare officers and the media.

Some say that children are priceless and thus worth more than any material object.

    There’s always an exception, though.

I agree with Katy, I want more. But I have to agree with the wife, the husband’s a real jerk.

The kids are weird? Just look at their father for the reason why.

There’s something definitely askew in those children’s psychological makeup.

That’s some great imagination and wry humor right there. Did Clayton find his Pop’s Mad Magazines?

Me to my kids (crying from a random boo-boo):

Sometimes you have to sacrifice in order to get what you want. The trick is to know what you are sacrificing.

A bucket or tub of ice works too. You just have to keep up with the melt. But, ya gotta have goals.

Good reminder to parents. Kids hear everything you say and do, especially when said and done during arguments/disagreements with your partner…..

Clayton has an imagination on par with Calvin’s, and that is a treat, nowadays, since kids seem to prefer a machine telling them what they should imagine.
