NONE of those murderous shooters were part of “a well regulated militia” The 2nd Amendment doesn’t give anyone not part of such a militia the right to own guns.
Until the radical right can be bothered to care for the actual living, breathing people already born, I don’t want to hear a word about their supposed care for the unborn, not-yet-people.
The 2nd amendment is not designed to protect the criminals and insane people that shoot up the innocents. The sign on the lawn belongs to the law abiding citizens in the house.
But keeping guns out of the hands of the criminals and insane people is not easy since they do not care about laws. So the Dems want to take the guns from the innocents.
Just.. a little collateral damage folks. The very essence of American manhood is at stake here. Seriously, without a 4×4 truck (on +36" wheels) and at “least” one AR 15 a man is merely a cowering democrat. /S
You have to take into account that the U.S. Constitution has one version of the 2nd Amendment and the NRA has another. I’m sure you can figure out which one takes president during real gun battles. Hint: it’s not the U.S. Constitution version.
Many more houses with either no guns or guns used to shoot folks known to the shooter than just 2A houses. And even 1 school is far too many.
And no, GQP building schools with fewer doors and many choke points is not the answer – that would make things far worse for kids and much easier for shooters
This latest shooting presents a dilemma for leftists as the shooter was a gender confused individual and deliberately targeted Christians. When the perp is a right winger they are quick to blame conservatives, Christians and of course, Trump. They can’t do that here, so they blame the 2nd Amendment and as always, the gun.
The constant response from the republicans and magas claiming it’s not the guns, whether one or 59 are killed, it’s mental illness or this or that… makes me even more certain that their decision to make pregnancy and birth a life or death outcome has nothing to do with the fetus but everything to do with showing women that they will pay for stepping out of their place in society… in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant.
It’s all about money from gun manufacturers using the NRA to buy GQP politicians. That and a great marketing program that claims it’s all about hunting.

The problem is not the WHOLE 2nd Amendment. It’s the malfeasant ruling that the rights enumerated there are not based on the reasons enumerated there.

For a group that claims “right to life”, they certainly seem to cheer on ways to end it quickly and bloodily.

OK, keep your gun. Let’s aggressively restrict and control the sale of ammunition.

The Second Amendment says “well regulated militia”.
But every time we try to regulate the militia, people scream about “cold dead fingers”.
