But do you know? If you really wanna go cheap, get some minnows. If you buy enough of them, there’s a good chance you’ll get one of each gender; and you’ll never run out of fish for your wish.

The growth of the goldfish is interesting. Does it increase in price as it grows bigger?

Instead of a goldfish, see if you can find some silverfish somewhere around the house at night.

I remember an episode of All In The Family where Archie Bunker explained why goldfish are the ideal pet….they require very little care and by the time you get tired of them, they die!

I had a neighbor with a parrot named George. They let it walk around the house. One day, after they’d had it for several years, it laid an egg. After that they called it Georgina. True story!

Never get a dog from a pet store. The dogs come from puppy mills that treat the dogs like dirt, inbreed, and never take care of medical issued. Dogs that are not “perfect” are killed…not always humainly.

By the time he buys a gold fish, the tank, food, and other equipment, he’ll still end up spending $300.00

At the rate that goldfish is growing, it’s going to outgrow its tank every other day.

Must be a Beverly Hills pet store. Or Dubai. Somewhere expensive. No parakeet is going to cost that much.

I saw a dead robin in the middle of the road this morning. Probably killed by a stronger robin. Male robins fight each other and it’s quite vicious.

Where’s he getting these prices? Some fancy pet store, is it? Maybe including all the stuff that goes with the pets? PSA: If you want a pet, pick up a spayed or neutered dog or cat from your local shelter. I can’t believe after so many years of Bob Barker’s sound advice, we still have a problem with too many dogs and cats.
